The dreaded plaited loaf…it gives chills to even the masters of dough, but it doesn’t have to anymore! We show you how to easily plait a loaf for an impressive result!
- Take your bread dough and cut it into 3 equal pieces.
- Roll each piece into a long fat sausage – they should all be the same length and thickness.
- Put one on top of the other & start to plait.
Right over middle, then over left.
Keep plaiting all the way down. - In the end, pinch each end and tuck under the middle. Put on a baking tray and leave until it’s doubled in size and then bake.
