Ingredients

  • 140 gr Sugar
  • 280 gr Self-raising flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 225 ml Milk
  • 75 ml Vegetable oil

Instructions

  • Grease loaf pan and preheat oven to 180C.
  • Combine sugar, flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Beat eggs, milk and oil.
  • Gradually add dry mixture to wet until just moist.
  • Pour batter into pan an inch below to compensate for rise. Optional: sprinkle sugar on top.
  • Bake 40 minutes.
